On August 1st, the celebration of Emancipation resonates throughout the Caribbean and neighboring nations; who on this date demand the freedom of Afro-Caribbean peoples._The Departmental Secretariat of Culture strengthens the most important celebration of the identity of our Raizal People.
Starting on July 21st with the opening ceremony at the Freedom Temple 'The First Baptist Church' will give start to multiple activities that will guide us to the remembrance of emancipation, expressed in 'The Emancipation March'
